Mural Description
Painted during the Belltown Mural Festival 2026.
This mural is a reference to the Crocodile Cafe, one of the most famous music venues in all of Belltown.
The color scheme red is in contrast to the building’s bright yellow color of Seattle Lighting Company and is created in Victor’s iconic style with texture and patterning and a border around the mural to really in-frame the image itself while creating a visual presence that is both born of the neighborhood and also watching over the neighborhood.
Victor said in addition to being inspired by the Croc music venue, he also wanted to create some kind of an overseer of the neighborhood and felt that this sort of moniker of sorts would create that crocodile like overseer of the Belltown neighborhood.
